FAQs - Help & Advice

Going Deeper....

Week by week people are finding out about the benefits of feeding a true holistic diet. This is due in part to the fact that dog owners are beginning to grasp that feeding one food, often including synthetics and by-products, can never supply the true needs of our dogs. Ailments such as food intolerances (allergies) and digestive upsets are common. More complex problems are also diet related. They need that 'something more'. They need to eat what they were created to eat.

Many people are not feeling right about modern feeding regimes. As a result they are either returning to, or trying for the first time, a more natural way and finding that it works far better.

Yes the dog is primarily a meat eater, but often overlooked is that its physiology also evolved to utilise the plant nutrients from its prey, which had fed on lush pasture. Today, lush and extremely varied pastures have become all too rare - the huge variety of herbage has gone and as a result the meat part of diets is found lacking and far less nutritious.

Nutrition is also about what is found in the vital micronutrient part of the diet. The absence of these micronutrients causes deficiencies and imbalances. This is why dogs often attempt to supplement their diet with grass, other plant material, dung or soil.

The dog is only doing what comes naturally, but Natural Choice is able to overcome many of these deficiencies by providing all the vital micronutrients in a truly tasty, wholesome food developed to work in the digestive, nutritional and medicinal areas.
